There are two bikes available for you to use, the #1 transport of choice in Amsterdam! You reach the ferry by bike within 10 minutes, which will take you across the IJ to downtown Amsterdam free of charge, day and night. There is also a good public transport connection with the city center, or you can simply order a taxi.
The picturesque villages Schellingwoude, Durgerdam, Zunderdorp, Uitdam and Marken are all within cycling distance by an attractive route. Just around the corner from the B&B is a tourist information point which also has cycling routes available.
A taxi ride from/to Schiphol Airport takes about 30 minutes, a taxi ride from/to the Central Station about 10. If you arrive by car, free parking is available nearby.
